Colorado Midland Railroad Handlan Lantern w/Tall Red Globe

Here is another great Colorado Midland Railroad lantern; one which is getting harder & harder to find. The frame of this lantern has been cleaned and hand polished and is in excellent condition with a lot of original tin; it is 10" tall without bail. There is two very tiny little dings on the top lid of the frame which is hard to see in the pictures. The bottom of the frame is marked "Handlan, St. Louis," and includes patent dates. The lantern has an old tall red globe which stands 5 3/8" tall. There are no chips or cracks on the top rim, and one very small flat rim flake on the outside rim, which will not be seen in the frame. The lantern also has the original twist off Handlan burner and holder, which will still hold oil and burn, and is marked "Handlan" on the end of the wick adjuster. This piece would be a perfect addition to someone's Colorado Midland collection,....especially a dedicated collector!

 The pot is marked "Handlan" on the end of the wick adjuster. And will still hold oil.

The bottom of the holder is marked "Handlan St. Louis" The bottom also has patent numbers that are hard to read.



This piece would be a perfect addition to someone's Colorado Midland collection,....especially a dedicated collector!
