1870's Walnut Pie Safe w/ 8 Star Patterned Punched Tin Panels

A new addition, and a very attractive one at that! This walnut pie safe has two large doors, each with four punched tins in a star pattern. The wood is in excellent condition, no repairs. The top is one board. 1" thick. No warp. There are 3 interior shelves. The left door has an inside brass latch. The hardware and the wooden door knob are original. The tins have been painted black on the outside, and cream on the inside. Dimensions of the pie safe are: 54 ½" tall, 42 3/4" wide, and 16 1/4" deep. The pie safe has four angled bracket feet. There are four vertical boards on the back, with minor edge separation from age. This would be a spectacular piece for your country kitchen.
