1916 Sellers "Kitcheneed Mastercraft" Kitchen Cabinet
(Item: DV05AG)

Sorry, This Item Is SOLD!!!

1916 Sellers 'Kitcheneed Mastercraft' Oak Kitchen Cabinet

Totally restored and room ready, this Sellers kitchen cabinet deserves a prominent place in your home! This Sellers 'Kitcheneed Mastercraft' kitchen cabinet was advertised in the Sept. 1916 Saturday Evening Post. It is the larger and harder to find version, at 48" wide, 27" deep. 70 ½" tall. It is golden oak, with an automatic lowering flour bin, which was patented by Sellers. Two spring loaded arms allow the bin to be extended and lowered almost to the floor for ease in adding flour. The bin also has a front window so you can see if more flour is needed. The right top side has a metal lined pie safe with shelves. Below that in another section is a pull out sugar jar and spice racks. There are two center doors, and a roll up section with oak tambours. All hardware and metal parts of the top are original. The doors all have beautiful caramel slag glass tops. Very attractive. The lower section has a white enameled work top. There is minor edge chipping on the front edge of the enamel work top, and some surface scratches but is in over all very good condition. A really great feature of the cabinet is the enamel work top and the top section of the drawers, pull out for more work area! The lower section has four drawers on the right side, two large lower doors, and a large silverware-utensil drawer on top. There are a few wooden parts that have had to be replaced, because of excessive wear. The back board of the top section has been replaced, also the slide out lower shelf, the cutting board, one small drawer has the sides and the bottom replaced, and the lower bread drawer has been replaced. These replacements are professional, and only serve to make this kitchen cabinet more attractive and functional! The original Sellers label is above the tambour section on the top. This is a beautiful and unique antique furniture piece, guaranteed to please!
