Set of Two Quarter Sawn Oak Morris Chairs with Pull Out Foot Stools

Over the years we have sold many beautiful "Morris" chairs, but this is the first time we have been able to offer a matching set of real Morris chairs with pull out foot stools! These gorgeous chairs would be stunning in even the most upscale home. The chairs have been totally restored and professionally refinished. They are both dark golden oak with long sloping arms and curved feet. Repairs have been made to three of the reclining rod slots. The chairs have been totally re-glued, so they will be stable and comfortable for years. The cushions are hinged in the middle and the foot stools slide out with the padding hinged to move up and down. The "Morris Chair Company" labels appear on the chair frames under the foot stools. The original cushions have been professionally re-upholstered in oxblood leather. The brass reclining rods are new and are specially manufactured for Morris chairs. Dimensions of the chairs are: 28 1/4" wide, 31 1/4" deep, and 41 1/4" tall (fully upright). One chair has slightly smaller casters, making it ½" shorter. This was probably deliberate, making it a "Mr. & Mrs." set. If your great room needs a focal point, this spectacular set of Morris chairs is for you!

The "Morris Chair Company" labels appear on the chair frames under the foot stools. Though not clearly visible here, when wet, this can just be seen on the label.
