C&SRy A&W 1909 Lantern w/ Red Etched "C&SRy" Tall Mellon Globe

A very nice and hard to find Colorado & Southern Railway double wire guard lantern ready to display! The top lid of the frame is strongly embossed "C&SRy, Adlake, The Adams & Westlake Company, Chicago", with the last patent date of Jan. 26^th, 1909. The frame has only been cleaned of oil and dirt. The top lid has one very minor ding below the letters "C&SRy", but overall, very straight with lots of original tin on the frame. The 5 3/8" tall red etched "C&SRy" mellon globe is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The frame stands 10 ½" tall without the bail. The original Adlake fount & burner has lots of tin and will hold oil & burn. Colorado railroad lanterns are getting harder to find each year, so get ready for this one to hang in your railroad room or den....it is sure to please!

Colorado & Southern Railway 1909 A&W Double Wire Guard Lantern w/ 5 3/8" Tall Red Etched Mellon Globe

The 5 3/8" tall red etched mellon globe in in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.

The frame is in excellent condition with lots of original tin! It is embossed on the top lid "C&SRy, Adlake, The Adams & Westlake Company, Chicago".The last patent date is Jan. 26th 1909.

The lantern has only been cleaned of dirt & oil. The frame stands 10 1/2" tall without the bail.

Top rim. The top & bottom rims of the globe are in excellent condition with no rim chips.

Bottom rim.

The lantern comes with the original Adlake fount & burner that has lots of tin and will still hold oil and burn.

This hard to find C&SRy lantern is sure to please any railroad collector!
