Set-4, 1890's Double Pressed Back, Rabbit Ear Dining Chairs

A very attractive set of double pressed back chairs with what we call "rabbit ears" , which are tall finials on each side of the back. The chairs are from the 1890's. All of the spindles are turned. There are three rungs on the front of each chair and three on each side. The extra rungs provide good stability and are higher quality. The seats are presently black oilcloth. When refinished, this set will be stunning. The chairs need re-glueing for stability, a new finish, and new upholstery. The "as is" price for the set is $475.00, and the refinished price is $625.00 for the set. Dimensions of the chairs are: 41" tall to the top of the "rabbit ears", and the seat area is 18 1/4 wide, and 6 3/4" deep.
