D&RG Railroad Handlan-Buck Lantern w/ Clear Etched Melon Globe

Here is a very fine Denver & Rio Grande Railroad Handlan-Buck Mfg. Co. lantern in excellent condition. The lantern frame is in excellent condition with lots of excellent metal and tin. It has been cleaned of oil & dirt, then hand polished. Embossed on the top lid is "D.& R.G.R.R., The Handlan, Handlan-Buck Mfg. Co., St. Louis". The frame is very straight with only one very minor tiny ding on the top lid of the frame. The frame stands 10 1/4" tall without the bail. The 5 3/8" tall clear etched "D&RGRR" melon globe is in excellent to near mint condition with only two very small flea bites on the top rim. The original Handlan fount & burner is also 100% tin, and will hold oil and burn. This D&RG Railroad lantern that will sure to please the avid Colorado railroad collector!

The clear etched "D&RGRR" 5 3/8 " tall mellon globe is in excellent to near mint condition with only two very small flea bites on the top rim.

The original Handlan fount & burner is also 100% tin, and will hold oil and burn!

The lantern stands 10 1/4" tall without the bail.
