Majestic 1880-90's Golden Oak Buffet-Sideboard w/ Lions & Claw Feet

A seriously large and beautiful dining room piece. This Quarter sawn oak buffet-sideboard is in the process of being restored. We have re-stained the upper gallery area, which is why it appears a bit darker in the photos. The buffet features full carved lions as upper columns, a heavily carved upper gallery with a northwind face at the center, and all feet are four toe ball and claw feet. All pulls and hardware are original. There are three upper drawers, four center doors, and one large lower drawer for ample storage of china, linens and silverware. The finish is dry and faded, and needs minor veneer repair on the serving surface. The beveled mirror is original, and has very minor age streaking. Dimensions of the buffet are; 68" long, 25" deep, and 65 ½" tall to the top of the gallery. The serving surface is 38 ½" tall from the floor. This is a spectacular furniture piece, and deserves to be in a room fit for a king!
