LS&MSRy 1895 A&W Lantern w/CC "LS&MSRy" 1902 Globe

Here is a very nice 1895 Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Railway lantern from the Adams & Westlake Company. The lantern comes with a clear strong cast "LS&MSRy" 1902 Corning 5 3/8" tall globe that is in excellent condition with no rim chips, cracks or flea bites. The globe has a yellowish cast from years of use, great patina, showing age and character! You can see the patent date "1902" near the top of the globes rim (see picture). The frame is true and straight, and has lots of original tin and solid metal. It has been cleaned of oil and dirt, and then hand polished. The lantern frame is 10" tall without the bail. The fount is 100% tin, rust free, and will still hold oil to burn. You seldom see an 1800's railroad lantern in such good condition, so don't miss out!
