D&RGWRR Adlake-Kero #250 Red Etched Globe Lantern
(Item: 4487-4429C)

D&RGWRR Adlake-Kero #250 Red Etched Globe Lantern

Here is a very nice Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad lantern to add to your collection. This Adams & Westlake Company frame has been cleaned of oil and dirt, then beautifully hand polished that shows lots of original tin with some patina....very nice & straight! It is embossed on the top lid "D&RGWRR, Adlake #250 Kero, The Adams & Westlake Co., Chicago, Elkhart, New York", with the last patent date being 1923. It has the original Adlake #250 burner and fount that will hold oil. Near the middle & bottom of the fount it has some surface metal roughness from rust being in the fount holder, but no pin holes. The short 3 1/4" tall Corning red globe is etched "D&RGW" and "Safety First". It is also embossed "Adlake-Kero, Cnx". There are only some very minor small outside flea bites on the top and bottom rims, not worth mentioning,...but must say for accuracy. You can proudly display this D&RGW beauty in any room of your home!
