CMRy Stamped Heart Shaped Union Brass Co. Lock

Here is an extremely hard to find piece from the Colorado Midland Railway. Reproductions abound in this field today, so we are pleased to offer this original Colorado Midland lock for sale. This switch lock is in fine working condition, but it does not have a key. The lock has lots of patina, but it does have one wear mark on its left side (See picture #7). It is stamped on the front side of the shackle "CMRy”, and “S” for switch on the other side. The key cover is also stamped “Union Brass Mfg. Co., Chicago”. A harder to find manufacturer. The key hole dust cover is missing the spring tension, and the lock is missing the clevis & chain. The lock is 4" long and 2 ½” wide. We have opened this lock with another collectors key, so we know it works. This Colorado Midland railroad piece would make the perfect,...and rare gift for that special railroad collector in your life!
