AT&SFRy (Santa Fe) Mimbreno Mimbreno Butter Pat Sorry, This Item Is SOLD!!!AT&SF (Santa Fe) Railway Mimbreno Butter Pat This is a very nice Santa Fe Railway butter pat in the "Mimbreno" pattern. It is in near mint condition. The saucer only has one small under glaze dimple below the right wing of the hummingbird. This is very hard to see, but must be mentioned for accuracy. There are no chips, cracks, or flea bites on this piece. The butter pat is back stamped "Syracuse China, 97-G (date code 1968), U.S.A.". The dish is 3 3/8" in diameter. Mimbreno railroad china was used on the Santa Fe Super Chief from 1937 to 1971. It was designed by Mary Elizabeth Jane Colter, a Harvey System employee. She was given the commission to design china based on the concept of the Membres Indians. Her resultant designs are widely collected to this day. This is a wonderful Mimbreno piece to add to your dining car china collection! Please patient for four larger pictures to download! $50.00
