Vintage Style Frontier Knife
This excellent quality new knife was Hand Made,
in the USA, by River Traders. This type of knife was used by early fur traders and western frontiersman. The 1095 carbon steel blade is 5" long. It has been heat treated, in a coal forge, this treating makes the random pattern in the blade. No two blades are ever alike. The Rockwell Hardness Number Is: 56 The curley maple handle is attached with brass pins. The fitted black leather sheath
has a loop for wearing on up to a 3" wide belt.
A great knife for wearing while hunting... cowboy action shooting or riding the range.
