NEW YORK GARNET

GARNET, gem quality. RARE faceted gemstones. Limited quantities. Found at the Barton Mine in North River, Warren County, New York. This garnet, the official New York State official stone, is a solid solution of pyrope-almandite-grossularite that results in a pleasant deep reddish material which often has an orange cast. This is the hardest garnet in the world only found in this one location. These beautiful gemstones have been faceted by our company and are available as shown below.
